ESS change own data

Hi all,

We can update field USRID IT0105 subtype ‘CELL’ via ESS change own data service . But how can we make this field just for display (not change)?

Hi Lala,

The simple and easy way of making it read only would be using Personalization feature in the portal.

Logged in as a Content Administrator, use "Ctrl + Right Click" on the field you would like to make read only and adjust the settings as necessary.

Select the checkbox for "Final" to make your changes final. You may also want to Disable end user personalization on this iview.

Open the particular ivieew in Ess role and put on cursor on particuar field ctrl+right click and there you can personalise the iviews.
you can get differnt options you can make disable and invisable........

I haven´t access to the field, the iview is webdynpro! Can I costumize in ECC?
