The resource field which is present in means of transport tab is for updating the transport resource. Transport resource will be used by deployment optimizer. Best Regards, Lala

In PP/DS, the Resource assigned to the Means of Transport will be assigned to the transportation activity. It is necessary to maintain transportation resource as otherwise this may result in incorrect scheduling for the order in liveCache. Please, also check note 565972 FAQ: External procurement in PP/DS.
