Extra characters in Smartform

Hello experts,

This issue is so out of the blue that i didn't even know how to search for it in the forums. It is stated simply:

I am creating a new smartform.
I created a secondary window called "TITLE" that contains only text.
I entered "Goods Receipt Slip" in the text element.

Now...

Whenever i try to save/avtivate/check/whatever, the system automatically adds a long string of '#'. if i delete them and resave the same thing comes up. if i don't delete them more just get piled on. so my title looks like this:

Goods Receipt Slip############################################## ################################################## ##############################

has anyone ever seen this before? is there some obscure Smartform config that says "add this junk at the end of a line"? Please advise and thanks.

Hi SAPMM,

Best option is filled it in the middle and large text area also with "Goods Receipt Slip" ...Then it works out. What about the Main???

Thanks for the replies. Someone already gave me the solution, however: apply the SAP note 1163452.
