It gives the error message:

III. Checking the destination service test report
FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE:
It gives the error message: SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime

Even RFC Connection ADS Connection test successful.

But in the Visual Admin Tool--->Cluster--> Server -->Services---

verification. Please see your admininstrator.

Basic Installation Configuration Steps:

FP_TEST_00

Adobe is installed at EP 7.00 SP11 (Java Stack).
Testing is done at Ecc 6.0 SR2 (ABAP System)

Any idea or clue. Please advise.

Default RE:Adobe Document Services (ADS) error

Hi, Pepa,

Pricing and Licensing. What licensing consequences, if any, does the joint functionality have for SAP customers?

Usage of print forms is included in your respective SAP license.

You need a license for SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe when three criteria apply to your situation:

You Create interactive form templates

Create your own custom-developed interactive forms or modify an SAP-delivered interactive form template by adding interactive fields or changing the backend binding of existing interactive fields.
This would be considered to be more than a cosmetic change (such as inserting your logo or some static text on an SAP-delivered interactive form template), and is therefore licensable.

You use interactive forms in a production system, that is when PDF forms are filled in by end users during business operations
Note that the license also applies to interactive forms created by Independent Software Vendors (ISVs, i.e. SAP partners) and shipped with their products, which are powered by SAP NetWeaver.

The SAP Interactive Forms license is an official SAP license. For more details, please contact your SAP sales representative.

Default RE: Adobe Document Services (ADS) error

Hello again,

Now I had solved the runtime SOAP error.

The problem was In ECC the service AdobeDocumentServicesSec was set up in SM59 but nothing was configured for SSL. So I have changed this to:
AdobeDocumentServicesSec.

Now for report FP_PDF_TEST_00 :
I can see the version information
Test Program: Version Information (for Analysis Only)
Version Information: 705.20060620101936.310918

But report FP_TEST_00 and FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE, it taking long time.

Any clue and please advise.

Thanks & regards
Pepa.

Hello, Pepa,

Can you please make sure you use a supported plattform for your
ADS?

Please tell me what CPU + OS you have in your J2EE engine machine.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello

The Adobe problem has been solved.

It's not due to any performance problem.
