Import of transports getting delayed - SAP-Forum.ORG

Hi Gurus,

We are using a SAP 4.6c on oracle / win 2003 . I have an issue while importing the transports thru stms. Each time I import a transport it delays to refresh the import queue showing a message below Sending Import Queue ( Block 1 from 2) . Because of this there is long delay when I have to import a large no. of transports. Because each time I have to wait for the import queue to get refrehed after import of each one of the trans. Could u kindly tell me why this is happening?

How big is your STMS buffer? Above 2000 entries, performance usually drops.

Hello,

With <F9> key you can mark several transports and import them in a single step.
