I have just finished installing a 4.7 system on Windows 2003 and would like to add an additional system on this same server so I can have DEV and QA on the same box. I'm having a hard time finding documentation on exactly what needs to be done for this. Do I basically need to create a new system as if starting from scratch with a new central instance and database? I know that there is an option to install an additional SAP system using the same database as my first one, however I am not sure what the implications of this are. Thank you very much for your help.

Install database and SAP using different SID and system numbers.
Good luck. |
