SAP FrontEnd Server Error

Dear All,

We have a problem with ECC6 SR3.
this error happen randomize. not happen in certain transaction or screen.
for first time, this error happen only in "Windows Vista Enterprise SP 1" user,
but now in "Windows XP SP3" (rarely) is happen too.
we use sapgui 7.10 patch 18
the error message is

Erroneous data received from server.
Application may not work correctly

if we click ok, than the sapgui is not terminate and we can continue the process, but it really disturb us.
sometime the SAPGUI will freeze and we need to "end task" from task manager.

we already change to SAPGUI7.20, but the error still occured.
Is anyone have this error, or there is any idea to fixed this?

[Portal]

On server side, please see what error is reported. The errors can be found in logs /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/log -- dev_wp* files (or you can see the wp trace details from SM50 as well).

My client is generating the same error and we wanted to confirm:

1. Are you using transaction screen variants
2 Have you applied OSS note 187270
3. When did you upgrade to service pack 254
