Hi Gurus,
I an currently trying to install SAP portal on SUSE LINUX 11. I think that have met all the requirements acording to the installation guide, like: 1. Installation of IBMJava2-AMD64-142-SDK-1.4.2-13.0.x86_64.rpm; 2. Set environmental variable SAPINST_JRE_HOME to the java installation directory. But when i start sapinst, i get the following: ************************************************** ********** srv004:~ # cd /NWDISKS/installation_master/IM_LINUX_X86_64/ srv004:/NWDISKS/installation_master/IM_LINUX_X86_64 # srv004:/NWDISKS/installation_master/IM_LINUX_X86_64 # ./sapinst [==============================] \ extracting... done! Is there anything wrong that i am doing? Please help. Regards, Mirna. |

Have you started the GUI locally on your PC? No firewall between that blocks the access on that port?

You may need to set the environment variable for DISPLAY. That's required for the GUI portion of the install to start.

No, not yet. The latest information I´ve received from SAP was that somewhere around Q1 2010 it would.
