Default Process Varient Doubt

Hello,

I created process chain to load master data

1. Start Process chain Varient as ZMST_CMPCODE

2. Execute InfoPackage

3. Attribute changeRun as Varient as ZMST_CMPCODE
I have a doubt if we use the same Varient name in both the cases like Start Proces chain varient and Attribute changerun as ZMST_CMPCODE. Is this ok to use?

Thanks in advance,
Ramma

Hi Ramma,

You can not have same technical name for two variants, you will get error message, 'Variant already exists'.

Regards,
Mirna

Hi Mirna,

I was using same varients in the same process chains. If this is going to be a problem some time we copy the process chains and use in that case also it should give the error message?

Thanks,
Ramma
