Position Purpose:
Will manage the business development function and sales of the company's services related to SAP Business Intelligence (Business Objects, BPC, SAP/BW, BeX, Hana etc.). Ensures achievement of strategic revenue objectives for assigned market or industry segment. Primary role is generating, qualifying and closing new business for the company. Director of Business Development may focus selling to new customers, existing customers or both. Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives, managers and clients to understand their needs and deliver effective proposals (in conjunction with the Service Delivery Pursuit Team). Teams with Service Delivery personnel to effectively execute the sales cycle. Participates actively in a Go-To Market team and helps the Go To Market Team achieve its goals. Approximately 8 years of service sales experience with five or more years of field sales experience.
