Job description:
The SAP BPC Senior Consolidations Consultant will be responsible for the successful delivery of functional and technical components of legal and management consolidation solutions using SAP Business Objects Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 7.0 / 7.5. This role will apply functional and technical integration knowledge of SAP ERP tools, consolidations/BI systems and functional finance processes. The consultant will advise clients of leading practices for the accounting function. The consultant will provide insights into General Ledger, Asset accounting, Controlling and Profitability process areas. The consultant will advise clients on legal entity reconciliation issues, optimizing the closing process and liaison between client auditors and counterparts. The consultant will provide insights into compliance and statutory reporting requirements, IFRS and GAAP accounting rules. The consultant will perform hands-on BPC Consolidations design and configuration (Reports, Script Logic, Interunit Eliminations, repostings, allocations, organizational changes, consolidation of investments, foreign currency translation, etc.). Qualified candidates are expected to have advanced hands-on BPC configuration skills and have completed at least one full cycle implementation in a hands-on role.

Certificate in Finance/ Accounting / MBA /CPA / CIPM is strongly desired along with previous financial consolidation and financial reporting analysis experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to interact with senior managers and executives of client companies and a proven track record designing and implementing change in complex businesses. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology during requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment. The candidate must be a team player as well as be able to work independently.

Nice to have skills/experience include the following:
SAP ECCS or SEM-BCS experience
SAP BI/BW experience
Experience with other EPM tools like Cognos, Hyperion, etc.
Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting and Financial Reporting Process knowledge
Team Lead experience

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge
• At least 2 years experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience (including SAP BPC, SAP ECCS, SEM-BCS, OutlookSoft).
• Readiness to travel up to 50%; travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends

Preffered:
• Master's Degree
• At least 4 years experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge
• At least 4 years experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience (including SAP BPC, SAP ECCS, SEM-BCS, OutlookSoft).
