What is required from a security aspect to allow an R3 system to access a WEB service on a Portal system?
On the R3 system the programmers created a proxy object based on a URL to a WEB service in the Portal and then an ABAP report to access the WEB service via the proxy object. From a BASIS standpoint what would have to exist to allow this connection to succeed? The R3 system can accept login tickets and in STRUSTSSO2 the Portal system certificate has been added. A trust has been added in the Portal for the R3 system. Is an HTTPS port required? Anything else? Thanks, Rima |
